The Society 5.0 era brings significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. Rapid technological developments require educational institutions to adapt in order to remain relevant, including in Islamic Religious Education (IRE), which needs to strengthen the cognitive aspects as well as the religious and moral character of students. This article analyzes strategies for controlling the quality of PAI through the application of Edward Deming's Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle as a systematic and sustainable approach to facing the challenges of Society 5.0. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The results show that PDCA is effective in improving the quality of PAI so that it is more adaptive and oriented towards continuous improvement. Through careful planning, focused implementation, objective evaluation, and continuous monitoring, Islamic educational institutions can realize learning that is relevant to technological developments without abandoning Islamic values.
