Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a social phenomenon that continues to increase and significantly impacts the psychosocial development of students. Deviant behaviors such as bullying, gang fights, and the misuse of digital media reflect weak self-control and a lack of moral understanding among adolescents. The internalization of moral values through counseling guidance becomes an essential strategy to shape positive behavior and prevent delinquent tendencies. This article aims to analyze the concept of moral value internalization, effective forms of counseling services, and their contribution to reducing juvenile delinquency. The study employs a library research method by reviewing books, journals, and relevant studies on adolescent morality and counseling guidance. The findings indicate that structured, humanistic, and value-based counseling services are capable of instilling deep moral awareness, helping adolescents reflect on their behavior, and enhancing self-control and prosocial conduct. Furthermore, collaboration between schools, counselors, and families strengthens the process of moral internalization, making it more sustainable. Thus, counseling guidance plays a strategic role in building adolescent character and reducing the rate of delinquency within educational settings.
