Abstract

This study is motivated by the phenomenon of digital preaching rapidly developing on the YouTube platform, one example being the program Kajian Hati by Ustadz Hilman Fauzi with the theme “Leaving Fatigue at the Edge of the Prayer Mat to Remain Surrendered” on the Trans TV Official channel. This study aims to analyze spiritual preaching messages and interpret their denotative, connotative, and mythological meanings using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. Using a descriptive qualitative method and content analysis, the results of this study indicate that the preaching messages encompass three main pillars: creed, morality, and worship, with an emphasis on patience, sincerity, and trust in God when facing life's fatigue. The prayer mat is presented as a symbol of spiritual surrender, while fatigue is interpreted as a test that strengthens faith. Ustadz Hilman Fauzi's preaching is humanistic, gentle, and relevant to the psychological dynamics of modern society. This study provides a new contribution to the study of digital preaching by emphasizing.
