Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the increase in student motivation and learning outcomes through the deep learning TaRL model. This research method uses a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The subjects of this study are 11th-grade students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang. The data analysis technique uses the paired sample t-test. The results of the study show that motivation and learning outcomes before and after learning differ significantly. Students are proven to have better motivation compared to before learning. Students also understand the material well when learning with the deep learning TaRL model. The results of this study provide support that the TaRL learning model is one alternative for teachers to implement deep learning.
