This study aims to: (1) Analyze the professionalism of Islamic cultural history teachers in planning the development of soft skills in the MAN 2 Muaro Jambi classroom, (2) to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic cultural history teachers' professionalism in developing students' soft skills in the classroom (3) Analyze the efforts and solutions of Islamic cultural history teachers' professionalism in dealing with the lack of students' soft skills when learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. This study produces 3 things, namely: planning carried out by Islamic cultural history teachers in developing students' soft skills, first, Mastering the material, structure, methods, and scientific mindset that supports the subjects taught, second, Teachers must be able to help students in adopting the ability to understand and master the soft skills that exist within themselves through the subject of Islamic cultural history. Islamic cultural history teachers must be able to encourage an atmosphere that can develop students' soft skills. Supporting factors, motivation, intelligence, environment, parents. As for the inhibiting factors, namely, peers, social media, classroom facilities. Efforts and solutions to address the lack of students' soft skills include conducting a diagnosis, creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, interaction between teachers and students, utilizing developments in information technology, and instilling Islamic values found in the history of Islamic culture.
