This study aims to determine the role and obstacles faced by tahfizh teachers in overcoming the difficulties of memorizing the Al-Qur'an at the Madrasah Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Lil Aulad Raudhatul Ulum (Matqularu). This research uses qualitative method. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. The results of the study are the role of tahfizh teachers in Matqularu, which can be seen from the role of teachers as leaders and teachers as managers (class managers) and the obstacles faced by teachers, namely there are still some students who often make mistakes in pronouncing the letters, health while teaching is also an obstacle for a teacher in their teaching process, and their different abilities are also obstacles in achieving their memorization targets
