This study examines the impact of the group recitation method on increasing students' motivation in learning the Qur'an at TPQ Khairul Imam. This study aims to identify how this method affects children's motivation, as well as the factors that support and hinder its implementation. A qualitative approach, using observations and interviews with teachers and students, was used to collect data. The findings of the study indicate that group recitation significantly increases students' motivation to learn the Qur'an. Approximately 78% of students showed increased participation and enthusiasm during the learning session. Social interaction within the group and the role of the teacher in guiding students were identified as key supporting factors. However, challenges such as large class sizes, varying student abilities, and a focus on pronunciation without understanding the meaning of the verses were found to hinder the effectiveness of the method. This study highlights the importance of a collaborative learning environment and suggests that optimizing the use of group recitation can further enhance students' engagement with Qur'an learning. This study also provides recommendations for improving teaching strategies in Islamic educational environments.
