Abstract

This research is motivated by the author's curiosity about the Role of Aisyiyah in the Field of Education in Kemuning District, Palembang, 1966-2024: Contribution of Learning Media for the History of Education Course. Some of the objectives of this research are to find out: (1) The role of Aisyiyah in the field of education in Kemuning District, Palembang; (2) The development of Aisyiyah educational institutions in Kemuning District, Palembang; (3) The impact of the establishment of Aisyiyah educational institutions on the lives of the people around Kemuning District, Palembang (4) The form of contribution of history learning media from the role of Aisyiyah in the field of education in Kemuning District, Palembang, 1966-2024. Research Method: Historical method and qualitative descriptive research type. Conclusion: (1) The Aisyiyah organization plays an important role in Kemuning District, Palembang, namely by establishing various educational institutions such as TK Aisyiyah 4, MA Aisyiyah, SMA Aisyiyah 1, and MTS Aisyiyah 1 Palembang; (2) The development of Aisyiyah educational institutions in Kemuning District, the first of which is TK Aisyiyah 4, MA Aisyiyah, SMA Aisyiyah 1 and MTS Aisyiyah 1 Palembang. (3) The impact of the establishment of educational institutions founded by Aisyiyah in Kemuning District is firstly to improve the quality of education. Secondly, to play an active role in society by raising awareness of social responsibility. Thirdly, the existence of educational institutions can be useful for the community because it can be a source of employment for teaching staff and administrative staff. Fourthly, providing scholarships to underprivileged students through the social sector. (4) The form of contribution of learning media in this study is an X banner measuring 80×180 cm
