Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a learning model that uses projects or activities as a medium for students to explore, assess, interpret, synthesize, and generate information to produce various learning outcomes. Project-Based Learning (PBL) accommodates diverse learning styles. Through this approach, students are given the freedom to explore learning materials in ways that align with their individual learning preferences. This allows them to discover personal meaning in what they learn, thereby increasing motivation and engagement. This study analyzes the impact of project-based learning (PBL) on students' critical thinking skills and creativity at State Islamic Junior High School (MTsN) 1 Lahat, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra Province, using a case study approach. The author collected data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the project-based learning process to help critical skills and creativity of students at the State Islamic Junior High School (MTsN) 1 Lahat, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra Province, is one of the main points to enrich the knowledge and skills of students who were previously quite good and directed in accordance with the guidelines implemented and have been running periodically, starting from the teacher facilitating and monitoring student activities in the project then has been structured starting from the project plan, the objectives and missions have been compiled, to carry out the implementation of the project until the end of the report and presentation, project evaluation and project results.References
