Abstrak

Bullying among adolescents remains a serious issue in the field of education. Self-efficacy refers to an individual’s belief in their ability to accomplish specific tasks and plays an important role in determining academic success and students’ learning behavior. This study aims to systematically examine the effect of self-efficacy on academic achievement and student behavior based on a literature review of 20 relevant national and international journal articles. The method employed in this study is a library research approach with a descriptive-analytical design. The findings indicate that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on students’ academic achievement, both directly and through mediating variables such as learning motivation, self-regulated learning, and student engagement. In addition, self-efficacy is proven to influence student behavior by reducing academic procrastination and improving discipline, responsibility, and prosocial behavior in the learning context. These findings emphasize the importance of developing self-efficacy in the educational process as a strategy to enhance academic quality and student behavior.
